Andytown Coffee Roasters was founded in 2014 by baristas Michael McCrory and Lauren Crabbe to bring specialty coffee roasting to the Outer Sunset in San Francisco. They wanted Andytown to feel like a grandmother's kitchen—clean, cozy, welcoming, and warm. When they started, they did all the roasting, baking, and customer service in their 600 square foot space. In 2017, they expanded onto Taraval with a new cafe right next to the beach and a brand new roasting facility.  They now have three locations in the Outer Sunset and one location downtown. As they grow, they are building a team of experienced specialty coffee and pastry professionals who work hard and continuously challenge Andytown to improve. They aim to create the jobs they always wanted to have and the company they always wanted to work for, all in the neighborhood they call home. They believe in investing in their neighborhood, creating good jobs, and using their economic impact for good. Andytown is built on a foundation of quality, approachability, and transparency. Andytown is a proud certified women-owned business by the WBENC, and they are also certified as a San Francisco Green Business and Surfrider Ocean-Friendly Restaurant.
