The name is a play on words in which to "this is cream" are added references to East Asia. Alberto Velarde, the founder, fell in love with specialty coffee during his first trip to Japan. He discovered that many of the coffee shops, there, are explicitly designed for take away, little places with excellent quality coffee. So, he decided to open something similar in Madrid, that offers beans artisan roasted in their own roastery.
