Joe Coffee Company was founded in 2003 by Jonathan Rubinstein as a singular specialty coffee café in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village with the simple vision of brewing high quality, unique coffees, and creating a welcoming space for the community. They have since expanded to 21 cafes in NYC (of which we list a handful in the most iconic places), with a roastery in Long Island City, yet their mission remains unchanged: to serve excellent coffee with warm hospitality in every one of our communities. They also have a so called “Pro Shop”, that caters to the local thirst for coffee and coffee knowledge. This is the only Joe Coffee location to feature a constant rotation of coffee roasters alongside their own brews. Plus, they also offer a full range of home espresso and drip brewing equipment for purchase at this location, as well as coffee education classes.
