Via Giuseppe Broggi, 15, 20129 Milan, Italy
2015: the Italian coffee scene is growing and so is the demand for specialty coffee. At this right time, Brent Jopson (from Vancouver, Canada) and his wife, Giulia Gasperini, move to Milan and decide to open their own place. It’s a style of coffee shop unusual for Italy. White walls, light wooden tables, almost minimalistic. A couple of sweet treats but mostly coffee. There’s a clear inspiration toward the coffee shops you can find in NYC, Tokyo or Vancouver, mixed with a touch of Italy: whenever someone comes to the counter to have a quick espresso, it definitely feels like home.
