Editorial Intro Tomassi Coffee is a family-run specialty coffee roastery founded in Aprilia in 2013 by Emanuele Tomassi. The focus is simple: carefully selected coffees, fresh roasting and a close connection between origin and cup. Tomassi roasts to order every Tuesday, working with both single origins and blends, from Ethiopia and Kenya to Colombia, Brazil and Peru.
The micro-roastery uses two roasting machines, including a small 500 g roaster for research and experimentation. Emanuele’s competition background is part of the story too: he won the Italian Coffee Roasting Championship in 2018 and again in 2024. For specialty coffee drinkers, Tomassi is worth following for its traceable coffees, evolving origins and serious approach to roasting.
