About BOCCA COFFEE

BOCCA Coffee is an Amsterdam-based specialty coffee roaster founded by Menno Simons in 2001. Its operation connects coffee sourcing, roasting, education and service, with an espresso bar and School of Coffee on Kerkstraat. BOCCA works directly with farmers and sourcing partners, building long-term relationships and emphasising transparency and fair prices.

Coffee is roasted in small batches and to order, with roast development focused on the character of each coffee rather than a rigid distinction between espresso and filter roasts. Visitors can explore its coffees at the Amsterdam espresso bar, while home brewers can buy whole beans or coffee ground for their preferred brewing method.
