Brazuca Coffee is an Amsterdam-based specialty coffee roaster dedicated exclusively to Brazilian coffee. Founded by Tiago Gawlinski, the business grew from Casa Brazuca, a Brazilian café opened in Amsterdam in 2008, into a roastery focused on bringing the diversity of Brazil’s coffee-producing regions to the cup. Its coffees are sourced directly from Brazilian producers and roasted weekly in small batches.
The range includes espresso blends, lighter filter coffees, single-origin selections, microlots and Swiss Water decaf. Rather than treating Brazilian coffee as a single flavour profile, Brazuca explores differences between regions and processing methods, offering coffees that range from chocolatey and full-bodied to brighter and fruitier. Every order also contributes €1 to Estrela da Favela, a project supporting children in Rio de Janeiro.
