About MONKS COFFEE ROASTERS

Monks Coffee Roasters is an independent specialty coffee roastery in Amsterdam, established in 2016 by Patrick Abbott. The team hand-roasts carefully selected coffees on a 12kg Probat machine, supplying home brewers, offices, cafés and hospitality businesses. Its range includes single-origin coffees and blends, with medium and darker roast profiles designed to bring out each coffee's character.

The roastery also offers barista and filter-brewing classes, including practical sessions covering V60, Chemex, Clever Dripper and AeroPress. Monks emphasises ethical sourcing, careful green-coffee selection and long-term relationships with customers and the communities it serves.
